CEO – Mr. Eitan Kariv

IES' founder and CEO, Mr. Eitan Kariv, is the driving force behind the company. His vision is to extend the availability of top-notch medical care in Israel at affordable prices to patients from anywhere in the world.

Mr. Kariv has over 17 years' experience in both medical and assistance industries, beginning with his military service as a senior IDF paramedic, and enhanced through positions with several companies as Operations Manager and Medical Flight Transport Director, where he coordinated over 250 medical flight transports and 30 air ambulance operations. Additionally, Mr. Kariv gained experience and sensitivity to the special needs of foreigners, expatriates, and tourists when he served as Marketing Director with the Health Division for Foreigners and Tourists at Ayalon Insurance.

Mr. Kariv holds a BA in Business Management & Economics from Bar Ilan University.

IES is proud of its handpicked and dedicated employees. Particularly noteworthy are IES' two high profile senior staff members: Dr. Dafna Givati, Aeromedical Unit Director, and our Chief Medical Consultant, Professor David Hasdai, Director of the Intensive Cardiac Care Unit (ICCU) at Rabin Medical Center in Petach Tikva.

Our Aeromedical Unit Director, Dr. Dafna Givati, is a senior anesthesiologist who served as a military doctor in the IDF and as deputy to the head of the PICU department in Nahariya Hospital. Dr. Givati has held a variety of senior positions with Magen David Adom (the Israeli Red Cross) and has over 10 years' experience in aeromedical medicine, participating in hundreds of the most complicated medical flights known in the aeromedical history of Israel.
